Petrol-Heads.uk began when the owner of four car‑focused Facebook pages decided to launch a website to complement the growing community on Facebook.
That owner is me — Matt. I’ve just turned 50, a lifelong motorsport enthusiast, and over the years I’ve competed in hill climbs, sprints and road rallies. Cars and motorsport have always been at the centre of my life.
I started the Facebook pages back in 2013 as a simple way to highlight interesting cars for sale on eBay. What began as a small side project has grown massively, and today the pages are home to more than 230,000 car and motorsport enthusiasts who interact daily.
With the launch of this website, I’m aiming to expand what I do: more regular posts, more motorsport and car news, reviews, photos and videos — all in one place.
